Building Muscle or Toning

Today I want to discuss the topics of bodybuilding, building muscle and toning certain areas of your body. Yesterday’s blog that I post discussed motivation and support with respect to fitness and exercise. It was more for the novice or someone who exercises just occasionally. Today I want to focus more on the topics for those people who exercise with weights on a regular basis and are looking for certain or specific results.

Let’s take this scenario… You’ve been working out with weights for awhile now, but you are not getting the results you are looking for. You want to build more muscle and strength or let’s say you may want the more sculpted look for your muscles, but you are not able to get these results! You are getting frustrated or bored, about to give up. What I suggest that you do is you change your workout routine. You should try new things and experiment with different ways of working out to determine what will give you your optimal results. Over a short period of time you will find what works best for you.

The same is true if you are looking to tone your body. You may want to try to change, modify your workouts with weights or even try something totally new like joining a Pilates, Yoga or fitness class.

At this stage in your workout, you may have no clue where to go. You may wish to hire a personal trainer or join an online fitness program. They can provide you with new suggestions, a new customized fitness workout plan and helpful tips and support.

These are just some of my suggestions. Sometimes you really do need to experiment or seek professional help. Professional athletes all do this to help them achieve their best in their individual sports.
